Cooper Bateman got a bit of a surprise start for Alabama during Saturday's showdown with Ole Miss.
While the Tide kept the gameplan fairly simple for Bateman early on with plenty of short throws, the sophomore didn't exactly look great when he tried airing it out in the second quarter.
Hard to tell who that was intended for, but Ole Miss safety Trae Elston was certainly wide open. Adding insult to injury on the play for Bateman, he got levelled on a block by Denzel Nkemdiche.
The interception would lead to a Rebels' touchdown, giving them a 10-3 lead.
