Report: Oklahoma State defensive end charged with larceny
An Oklahoma State redshirt freshman has been charged with a misdemeanor stemming from a missing watch.
Trey Carter, a 19-year-old defensive end, was reportedly arrested by university police on July 23 and charged with larceny of lost or mislaid property on July 29, according to Stillwater News Press' Chris Day.
According to the police affidavit, the victim said Carter and sophomore cornerback Ramon Richards walked by his desk on the fourth floor of the library. The pair asked another student to help them find the "Dust Bowl Diaries" book. The victim later discovered his watch missing as he prepared to leave the library.
Carter told the responding university officer that he found the watch on the library floor, and didn't ask if it belonged to the student sitting nearby.
Carter is due in court on Friday.
