Mississippi State's Quadry Antoine to transfer; Rashun Dixon off team
Mississippi State unveiled its revised 105-man training camp roster on Sunday, leaving off junior linebacker Quadry Antoine, whom the school says intends to transfer.
Antoine had six tackles and a sack in 14 games played over his two years with the program.
A school spokesperson confirmed his departure from Starkville, according to Michael Bonner of The Clarion-Ledger.
Tight end Rashun Dixon, the younger brother of former Mississippi State star Anthony Dixon, is also missing from the expansive roster, with the university confirming that he, too, is no longer a member of the program.
Freshman tight end Farrod Green, one of three newcomers who didn't enroll earlier in the summer, was the only addition to the roster.
The other incoming freshmen, wide receiver Dontea Jones and defensive tackle T.D. Morton, were not included.
Morton's future with the program remains uncertain, while Jones has reportedly enrolled at a prep school in North Carolina and plans to join Mississippi State in January.
