4-star prospect Luke Farrell commits to Ohio State

Four-star tight end Luke Farrell committed to Ohio State, announcing the pledge on Twitter while attending the Buckeyes' Friday Night Lights recruiting event in Columbus.

The 6-foot-6, 244-pound Farrell is the country's No. 155 overall prospect in the class of 2016, as ranked by ESPN, and No. 5 among tight ends.
The Perry, Ohio native opted for the Buckeyes over offers from Big Ten foes Michigan and Michigan State, as well as Notre Dame and Oregon, among others.
