ACC Kickoff, Big 12 Media Days preview, schedule, TV times

The Atlantic Coast Conference and Big 12 Conference will share the media spotlight Monday and Tuesday as each conference will hold its season-opening media availability on these days.

The ACC's event will be held at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C., while the Big 12's session will go down at the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

What to watch for

Florida State has won three straight ACC championships, and added transfer quarterback Everett Golson in the summer. ... Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer enters his 29th season in Blacksburg. His Hokies host Ohio State in their opener after handing the Buckeyes their only loss of the 2014 season. ... Longtime Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi made the jump to Pitt and comes in to the event as the lone rookie head coach.
