VIDEO: Texas kicker Nick Rose connects on an 80-yard field goal
Texas kicker Nick Rose has scored another for the Twitter highlight reel.
The Dallas product posted a short video on the popular microblogging site on Sunday of him easily nailing an 80-yard field goal at the Longhorns' home stadium in Austin.

The post comes just days after a similarly styled video was uploaded on YouTube of Baylor's backup placekicker Spencer Evans nailing an impressive 75-yard kick.
Unlike Evans, who mainly served as the Bears' kickoff specialist in 2014, Rose has actually attempted a field goal during an NCAA game, successfully connecting on 14 of 20 attempts last season, including a career-record 51 yarder in a 28-7 win over Oklahoma State last November.
It's been an eventful offseason for Rose, who also attracted considerable attention for a video uploaded by teammate Trey Holtz in June that showed him completing an astounding backflip field goal.
