Eastern Washington's Vernon Adams transfers to Oregon
Vernon Adams will be Oregon's next quarterback.
The Eastern Washington graduate confirmed the news on his Twitter page Monday. As a graduate transfer, Adams will be eligible to play one season with the Ducks.
In a statement posted to his Instagram, Adams thanked Eagle Nation for the success he found leading up to this point.

Want to thank every single one of my teammates for pushing me to be a better man/athlete everyday these past 4 years. Definitely want to thank Coach B, the coaching staff, and the everybody upstairs who has something to do with my success. I also want to thank all the other athletes and coaching staff's here at EWU for all the love & support. I'm going to love & miss yall forever Cheney/Spokane but I have to do what I think is best for me and my family. All love.
In three seasons, Adams threw for 10,438 yards and 110 touchdowns versus only 31 picks. He averaged 282.1 yards per game while completing 701 passes on an astonishing 64.8 passing percentage.
He also rushed for 1,232 yards and 11 touchdowns on 297 attempts in his career.
