Oregon will be without one of its best defenders for the Rose Bowl as head coach Mark Helfrich confirmed Thursday that cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu won't play in the College Football Playoff.
Ekpre-Olomu reportedly suffered a knee injury during practice on Wednesday.
It's a big blow to a defense that will be matching up against Jameis Winston and the No. 3 Florida State Seminoles in the Rose Bowl.
