Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a Thorpe award finalist, deflected eight passes and had two interceptions to go along with 63 tackles.
The Ducks take on the Seminoles on Jan. 1 as part of the inaugural College Football Playoffs.
Ekpre-Olomu has a $3-million loss of value insurance policy should he slip in the NFL Draft due to the reported injury, according to ESPN's Chantel Jennings, money he would earn if he slipped past the start of the third round.
