Report: North Carolina eyeing Florida's D.J. Durkin for DC job
USA TODAY Sports
It appears as though another Florida staffer might be on the move.
North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora met with Gators defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin to discuss a potential job leading the Tar Heels' defense, according to Scout.com's Ben Sherman.
Durkin has served as the defensive coordinator at Florida for two seasons under Will Muschamp, who was fired in November. The Gators defense has been ranked in the top-ten nationally during his tenure.
Dan Disch is the current defensive coordinator at UNC.
