NCAA upholds Todd Gurley's 4-game suspension

The NCAA announced Thursday night they will uphold Todd Gurley's four-game suspension, making Georgia's star running back eligible to return for the team's Nov. 15 game against Auburn.
Gurley sat out Georgia's games against Missouri and Arkansas due to a school suspension during the investigation, and will miss the team's upcoming games against Florida and Kentucky.
The university appealed Gurley's suspension Wednesday and pushed for the NCAA to instead accept a two-game suspension.
"We are very disappointed in tonight's decision ... regarding our appeal on Todd Gurley's eligibility reinstatement," the school said in a statement. "We believe our case to the NCAA for Todd's immediate reinstatement was strong and compelling."
