Tennessee fans aim to checker Vanderbilt's stadium

Tennessee fans aren't satisfied with checkering Neyland Stadium; now they want to pattern Vanderbilt's stadium orange and white as well.
Volunteers fans successfully 'checkered out' their stadium against Florida on Oct. 4, and are pushing for a repeat performance on Nov. 29 when Tennessee visits Vandy, reports Matt Slovin of The Tennessean.
The idea originated from a thread on 247sports.com's Vols-themed message board. Started by user Thomas Witherow, the idea spread rapidly on social media via the hashtag #CheckerVandy. Fans have already dug up a seating map of Vanderbilt's stadium and assigned colors to sections.
Vanderbilt has won the past two meetings with Tennessee, but only three of the past 31 total games against the Volunteers.
