Understatement of the day: Vanderbilt coach Mason says South Carolina is 'a great challenge'

Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason stated the obvious at his weekly press conference Tuesday, calling the team's upcoming matchup with Steve Spurrier-led South Carolina "a great challenge."
Vanderbilt has struggled to 1-2 this season, causing a fan to strip in frustration, and another to buy a website domain advocating for Mason's resignation.
As Mason noted, Spurrier holds a slight edge in experience, having coached for more than 25 years.
