Washington offering free 'bike valet parking' on gamedays

Crowded parking lots and traffic jams are the norm when it comes to attending a major sporting event. In order to try to cut down on the number of motor vehicles arriving on gameday - and get students a little more exercise in the process - the Washington Huskies are offering a unique way for fans to get to Husky Stadium this year.
This a pretty smart move by Washington in an effort to cut down on the numbers of cars that flood the area. For those living on or just off campus, this provides a convenient way to attend the game, while remaining secure in the knowledge that your bike is in a safe place.
Now, if only every fan attending the game got a high-fiving Husky as a parting gift, all would be right in the world.
