USC's Lemon enters draft after winning Biletnikoff Award
USC standout Makai Lemon will skip his senior campaign and enter the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced Wednesday.
Lemon is fresh off taking home the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver.
The Trojans will now forge ahead without their top two receivers, as Ja'Kobi Lane previously declared for the draft following a 745-yard, four-touchdown season.
Lemon posted 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, putting him in the top six of the FBS in both categories. His ascension continued after he broke out with 764 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore.
Lemon projects to be one of the top wide receivers in the draft along with the likes of Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson and Ohio State's Carnell Tate. Tyson has already announced his decision to turn pro, while Tate is widely expected to declare once the Buckeyes' season ends.
