Lane Kiffin will happily lend his name, image, and likeness if EA Sports decides to feature coaches in College Football 25.

The Ole Miss head coach told Andy Staples of On3 that he'd be willing to appear in the video game for free despite EA Sports compensating college football players who opt in.

"I would let them do it without any deal," Kiffin said. "I would just let them do it."

Players who opt in will receive $600 and a free copy of College Football 25. They'll also have opportunities to earn more in exchange for promoting the game. More than 10,000 players had already opted in as of Monday, according to EA Sports.

Kiffin said he believes Ole Miss' recruiting could be boosted by him being in the game.

"The kids like to play it," he said. "When they're picking the team, you would want recruits to play with the coach.

"My brain thinks about 'What would help in recruiting?' If you did pay me for that, I wouldn't want it. I'd want you to put it into our NIL."

EA Sports College Football 25 is scheduled to be released this summer.
