Breece Hall to skip Cheez-It Bowl, declares for NFL draft

Iowa State running back Breece Hall has declared for the NFL draft and will forgo his remaining eligibility, he announced via Instagram.
Hall had a standout season for the Cyclones, setting the NCAA record of 24 consecutive games with a rushing touchdown in a 48-14 win over TCU on Nov. 26.
The junior placed sixth in the FBS with 1,472 rushing yards and tied for first with 20 rushing touchdowns on 253 carries in 2021.
Hall led the FBS with 1,572 yards on the ground as a sophomore in 2020 and leaves Iowa State with 3,941 rushing yards and 50 rushing touchdowns in three seasons.
The Cyclones will face off against No. 19 Clemson in the Cheez-It Bowl on Dec. 29 without Hall's services.
