Kansas social team trolls Texas using Matthew McConaughey references

After Kansas shocked the world by snapping a 56-game Big 12 road losing streak with a win at Texas on Saturday, the Jayhawks' social team turned in a strong performance of its own.

Shortly after the dramatic overtime victory, the football account trolled the Longhorns using superfan - and part-time university professor - Matthew McConaughey's catchphrase in a tweet.

Then the main athletics account touched on Kansas alum Paul Rudd's recent honor of being named People Magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive.'

The Jayhawks hadn't won a single Power 5 game since 2019 or a Big 12 road game since 2008. The win also marked Kansas' first ever at Texas, so - understandably - the school could hardly contain itself after the victory.
