Jaxson Dart is headed west as the four-star quarterback announced during his commitment ceremony Wednesday that he's signing with USC.
The Utah native is ESPN's 15th-ranked pocket-passer in the class of 2021 and is rated as the country's No. 73 overall prospect. Dart considered BYU, UCLA, and Arizona State before deciding to head to USC.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder was a relative unknown for most of his high school career before bursting onto the scene with an incredible final season. He threw for 4,691 yards and set a state record with 67 touchdowns in 2020.
Dart's commitment helps the Trojans replace highly touted passer Jake Garcia, who decommitted earlier in the cycle. Garcia is expected to sign with Miami later Wednesday.
