Kansas State will be without Skylar Thompson on Saturday versus TCU, as the starting quarterback will miss the game due to injury, according to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.
Thompson did not make the trip to Fort Worth due to an injured right shoulder he suffered in last week's win over Texas Tech. True freshman Will Howard came on in relief for the Wildcats and rallied the team to a 31-21 victory.
Howard will be in tough against a Horned Frogs defense that turned in a strong performance to knock off Texas last week.
