Shots of Florida State's crowd were incredible after loss to Georgia Tech

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many venues around the country aren't allowing fans for college football games.

Thankfully for the neutral observer Florida State is one of the programs allowing fans in limited capacity, because the images we saw Saturday provided some outstanding entertainment.

The first game of the Mike Norvell era in Tallahassee looked a lot like the product that got Willie Taggart fired last season. A sloppy game featuring a lengthy weather delay ended with the Seminoles losing to a Georgia Tech team that won just three games last season. It's the fourth straight season Florida State has lost its opener, the first time the school has had such a run since 1973-76.

Florida State has next week off before traveling to Miami for a rivalry game against the Hurricanes.
