4-star DE Alfred Collins commits to Texas

Texas secured a major addition to its recruiting class on National Signing Day, with four-star defensive end Alfred Collins announcing his commitment to the Longhorns.
Collins, a Texas native, is the No. 52 overall recruit and the seventh-ranked defensive end on ESPN 300.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound pass-rusher racked up eight sacks, 86 tackles (including 35 for a loss), and four forced fumbles in his final high school season.
