Cincinnati safety Kyriq McDonald suffered a medical emergency on the field Saturday during the team's game against Ohio State.
McDonald collapsed and was convulsing during a play in the first half. After being placed on a cart, the sophomore was able to sit upright and communicate with training staff.
McDonald's mother told ESPN's Allison Williams in the tunnel that her son has a history of seizures, according to Yahoo Sports.
The Bearcats safety has been ruled out for the remainder of the game and is under the supervision of UC medical staff, according to The Athletic's Justin Williams.
