USC's Daniels exits vs. Fresno State with apparent leg injury
USC quarterback JT Daniels left Saturday's game against Fresno State with an apparent leg injury suffered late in the second quarter.
Daniels went down awkwardly on his knee when several Bulldogs defenders sacked him, and he had to be assisted off the field. After being briefly examined on the sideline, the pivot was carted to the locker room.

The sophomore was on fire during the opening half prior to suffering the injury, with Daniels torching Fresno State for 215 passing yards and a touchdown while leading USC to a 17-10 halftime lead.
With redshirt sophomore Jack Sears opting to enter the transfer portal after losing the quarterback competition in camp, the Trojans are left with freshman Kedon Slovis and redshirt junior Matt Fink on the depth chart.
