LSU bolstered its 2020 recruiting class on Friday when four-star defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy announced his commitment to the Tigers.
Roy is the sixth-ranked defensive tackle in his class and the No. 69 overall player on the ESPN 300.
The Baton Rouge, La., native received offers from several big-time schools, including Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, Auburn, Oregon, and Texas, but he opted to stay home and attend LSU.
Roy is the seventh top-100 prospect to commit to Ed Orgeron's squad during the 2020 cycle. The Tigers' class features third-ranked cornerback Elias Ricks, and wide receiver Rakim Jarrett, who ranks 30th overall.
