Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary won't suit up for Sunday's rivalry game with Michigan State, his third straight week on the shelf due to a shoulder injury, a UM spokesman told Zach Shaw of 247Sports.

The preseason All-American defensive end missed wins over Maryland and Wisconsin, and was limited earlier in the season.

The Wolverines should continue to rely more heavily on sophomore defensive end Kwity Paye and true freshman Aidan Hutchinson in Gary's absence.

Meanwhile, there was some good injury news for Michigan, as wide receiver Tarik Black was dressed in uniform prior to kickoff for the first time in more than a year, according to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press.

Black has been sidelined all season due to a broken bone in his right foot, and also missed the final 10 games of last year due to a similar injury in his other foot.
