Steve Spurrier promises Les Miles he'll eat grass if Florida loses to LSU
Former college football coaches Steve Spurrier and Les Miles made a friendly wager ahead of Saturday's Florida-LSU matchup.
Miles, who coached at LSU from 2005-2016, tweeted at Spurrier on Tuesday afternoon expressing confidence that the Tigers would defeat the Gators.
Hey @SteveSpurrierUF… how much you wanna bet your Gators are going down this weekend? #GameOn

Spurrier, now the head coach of the Orlando Apollos in the Alliance of American Football league, laid out the terms of the bet a few hours later.
.@CoachLesMiles shoot, we’re going to win on Saturday. If we don’t, I’ll eat some of that grass of yours. When we do win, you’re wearing my visor! #GoGators https://t.co/6asGecE37v

Miles, of course, has been known to eat stadium grass during games.
"I have a little tradition that humbles me as a man, that lets me know that I'm a part of the field, a part of the game and it's the very bottom as well as the very top and it could be all over the internet, but, you know what? You should have seen some games before this," Miles said in 2010. "I tell you one thing. The grass at Tiger Stadium tastes best."
