Stanford's Love ruled out for Week 3

Stanford running back Bryce Love will miss Saturday's game against UC Davis, head coach David Shaw told ESPN's Kyle Bonagura on Tuesday.
Love exited the Cardinal's 17-3 win against USC in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury and did not return. Following Saturday's contest, Shaw indicated his star rusher was lifted merely as a precaution.
Love ran for 136 yards on 22 carries against the Trojans. He finished second in Heisman Trophy voting last season after rushing for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns.
