LSU standout linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury suffered during Sunday's win against Miami, head coach Ed Orgeron announced Tuesday, according to Shea Dixon of 247Sports.

Chaisson left the game in the fourth quarter. He was impressive before the injury, recording five tackles, a sack, and a quarterback hurry.

The 6-foot-4, 238-pound sophomore had 27 tackles and two sacks last season, which saw him named to the SEC All-Freshman team.

Andre Anthony, Michael Divinity, and Travez Moore will be expected to step up in Chaisson's absence.
