4-star athlete Kaiir Elam yet to make decision after Ohio State visit
Joe Maiorana / USA TODAY Sports

Kaiir Elam remains in the process of evaluating his options after completing a visit with Ohio State over the weekend.

The four-star athlete's Twitter post, which included a photo of him in Buckeyes gear, initially appeared to hint at a commitment. But a decision on that front has yet to be made.

Elam is the 70th-ranked prospect on the ESPN 300, and the 10th-best player in Florida for the 2019 cycle.

He has family ties to head coach Urban Meyer, as his uncle, former Baltimore Ravens first-round pick Matt Elam, was successfully recruited by Meyer during his time at Florida.

Elam has offers from a number of big-time programs, including Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Florida State, and Michigan.

Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Kaiir Elam had committed to Ohio State
