The National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame announced a 76-player list on Monday from which the 2019 inductees will be chosen, with Vince Young, Ray Lewis, Eric Dickerson, and Troy Polamalu among the names listed.

Over 12,000 members of the NFF and current Hall of Fame members will be the ones who vote to determine the class, with the announcement of the inductees coming on Monday, Jan. 7 in Santa Clara, Calif.

Young was a 2005 consensus First-Team All-American selection who led Texas to one of the most dramatic national championship wins in the history of the sport. He became the first player in FBS history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 in the same season, capping the year with 467 total yards and three scores in the title game.

Lewis was a star for Miami, claiming First-Team All-American honors in 1995, and left school ranking sixth in career tackles for the storied program.

Dickerson was a unanimous First-Team All-American selection while at SMU in 1982 and finished third in Heisman voting that year. He finished his career with an impressive 4,450 yards on the ground for the Mustangs.

Polamalu was a two-time First-Team All-American at USC, patrolling the secondary for the Trojans before going on to have an illustrious career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Other notable players to receive a nomination include Patrick Willis, Joe Thomas, Rashaan Salaam, Carson Palmer, Darren McFadden, Marvin Harrison, and Tony Gonzalez.
