Ohio State's Burrow departs from school to explore graduate transfer
Ohio State quarterback Joey Burrow announced Tuesday that he'll be leaving the school to explore options as a graduate transfer.
After weeks of struggling with this decision, I have decided to leave Ohio State and explore other options. My teammates and coaches all know the love I feel for them. I will decide where I will play next year in the coming weeks.

Entering his redshirt junior year, Burrow graduated on Sunday and would be allowed to play immediately for a new school with two years of eligibility remaining.
Burrow was the top performer at Ohio State's recent spring game, competing with Dwayne Haskins and Tate Martell to be J.T. Barrett's successor as the Buckeyes' 2018 starter. Burrow's departure likely puts Haskins on the inside track for the job, though he'll remain in competition with Martell at fall camp.
Burrow hadn't started a game in three years with the Buckeyes, but he had made appearances in 11 games, completing 29 of 39 passing attempts for two touchdowns and no interceptions.
