Miami has given head coach Mark Richt a new contract extension that will keep him in charge of the program through the 2023 season, the university announced Thursday, according to Ralph D. Russo of The Associated Press.
Richt signed a six-year deal when he joined Miami in 2015, following a 15-year stint with Georgia.
The 58-year-old guided Miami to its first ACC Championship game appearance and an Orange Bowl appearance last season.
