Report: Ex-LSU OC Canada expected to land at Maryland

Maryland is expected to hire Matt Canada, formerly of LSU, as its new offensive coordinator, sources told Matt Zentitz of AL.com.
Canada is two years removed from leading the nation's 10th-best scoring offense at Pitt, but was fired by LSU on Jan. 5 after one pedestrian campaign with the Tigers.
Maryland's offensive coordinator position became vacant last week, when Walt Bell took the same job at Florida State.
Canada is known to incorporate plenty of pre-snap motion into his offense, but LSU head coach Ed Orgeron preferred a simpler offense suited for less experienced players.
