Not only did Alabama have to overcome a very strong Georgia squad on Monday, but the Crimson Tide apparently also had a copy of their playbook fall into unwanted hands.

According to a report from WSB-TV Atlanta, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar had his backpack stolen from a hotel conference room on the Saturday before the game. Inside the bag was his cellphone, laptop, cash, sunglasses, and his playbook for the game.

While police recovered some of the stolen items, the playbook was never found.

But thanks to a brilliant comeback led by freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Crimson Tide were able to persevere and come away with the national title.
