Governor names UCF 2017 College Football National Champions in Florida

Florida governor Rick Scott is giving UCF the respect it's due after an undefeated season.

Gov. Scott's order recognizes the school as the 2017 College Football National Champions in the state of Florida.

UCF was the only undefeated school in NCAA Division I this season, winning the AAC Championship over Memphis by a score of 62-55.
Alabama and Georgia play in Monday's National Championship, but both lost to Auburn this season, thereby making UCF the rightful champions with its victory over Auburn in the Peach Bowl, according to Gov. Scott.
