It appears Nick Saban has a trick up his sleeve for the Alabama offense as it faces Clemson for the third time in three years on Monday in the Sugar Bowl.
Sources told Matt Zenitz of AL.com that freshman Tua Tagovailoa is expected to see playing time in conjunction with starting quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts has only lost two games in two years as the Alabama starter, and has accounted for 23 touchdowns against two turnovers this season. Hurts is a brilliant runner at the quarterback position, but Tagovailoa potentially gives the Crimson Tide a better option in the passing attack.
The highly touted freshman has seen action in seven games this season, throwing for 470 yards and eight touchdowns against one interception.
