Trey Sanders, No. 1 RB in 2019 class, decommits from Alabama

Alabama took a hit on the recruiting trail Monday, as four-star running back Trey Sanders announced via Twitter that he has decommitted from the Crimson Tide.

Sanders, the No. 12 recruit on the ESPN Jr. 300, as well as the top running back in the 2019 class, clarified that Alabama will still be one of his top schools, but feels that decommiting at this time is the right decision for him.

The product of IMG Academy holds offers from other notable schools such as Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and UCLA.
