In the opening minutes of Sunday's Hawaii Bowl, Oliver - an All-American defensive tackle for the Houston Cougars - plunged into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown, giving his team an early lead against Fresno State just days after injuring his foot by stepping on a sea urchin while in the water off Waikiki Beach.
