Oregon players call for OC Cristobal to be named head coach

Scott Olmos / USA TODAY Sports

Oregon players are making their voices heard.

Just days after former head coach Willie Taggart made the jump to Florida State, a number of Ducks players have taken to Twitter to voice their collective opinion on the man worthy to replace their former bench boss.

That man is Ducks interim head coach and co-offensive coordinator Mario Cristobal, who joined the program prior to this season after serving as Alabama's offensive-line coach from 2013-16.

Cristobal is no stranger to being a head coach, as he guided FIU to a 27-47 overall record over six seasons from 2007-12.
