Justin Fuente said Sunday he has no interest in leaving Virginia Tech, as rumors pick up that he's atop the wishlist of higher-profile programs in need of a head coach.
"We've been approached and I've declined to talk to anybody," Fuente said, according to Mike Barber of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
The second-year Hokie has recently had his name connected to job openings at Florida State, Tennessee, and even Arkansas. Fuente along with Oregon's Willie Taggart, are reportedly Florida State's top choices to replace the departed Jimbo Fisher.
Fuente steered Virginia Tech to a 9-3 record this year after going 10-4 last season. He'll lead the Hokies into the Camping World Bowl against Oklahoma State to wrap up the campaign.
