Kirk Ferentz isn't exactly known as the most innovative coach in the country, but the Iowa frontman pulled out one of the craziest trick plays in recent memory Saturday against Ohio State.
The Hawkeyes' field-goal unit came out for a short attempt in the third quarter, but quickly shifted to a wacky formation with punter Colten Rastetter lined up behind long-snapper Tyler Kluver.
Kluver, who was receiver eligible on the play, snapped the ball and quickly ran a route with Rastetter hitting him in stride for the massive conversion down to the 2-yard line.
Iowa would punch it in for the touchdown on the next play to extend its lead over the Buckeyes.
