Georgia's Terry Godwin suffers rib injury vs. Missouri

Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports

Georgia's offensive weaponry took a hit Saturday against Missouri, as wide receiver Terry Godwin was forced from the game in the first half after suffering a rib injury, according to Seth Emerson of DawgNation.

Godwin returned to the sidelines for the second half, but was limping according to Emerson. Head coach Kirby Smart addressed Godwin's injury following the game, but did not seem too concerned with its potential longevity.

“I think he’ll be fine,” Smart said. “He had to go get it checked out and go get it X-rayed. He should be fine.”

Godwin has been a key factor in Georgia's success this season, leading the team in receiving with 327 yards and five touchdowns on 12 catches.
