This may be a first.
The sister of Western Michigan tight end Donnie Ernsberger ran onto the field in overtime to hug her brother after he scored a touchdown in Buffalo.
The problem? Well the game wasn't over as the touchdown tied the score at 38 after the first overtime, so the Broncos were given a 15-yard penalty and she was kicked out.
Western Michigan would eventually overcome this unexpected incident for a 71-68 victory in the seventh overtime, in what was the highest combined score in FBS history.
