It appears it's on Luke Del Rio to keep the nation's longest winning streak alive, as Florida has benched starter Feleipe Franks in favor of last year's first-stringer versus Kentucky.
Del Rio entered the game with Florida trailing by 10 in the third quarter and completed two passes before throwing an interception. He remained in the game when Florida's defense forced a three-and-out on Kentucky.
Franks was 7-of-12 for 85 yards and a touchdown in the game, but the Gators' offense struggled to move the ball yet again throughout the opening half.
Florida has beaten Kentucky 30 straight times - the longest active streak in the country.
