Ahead of the first FBS game hosted in Houston since the city was ravaged by Hurricane Harvey, the full rosters, coaching staffs, and other team members of both Rice and Houston shared a moment of unity Saturday and shook hands.
A moment of silence was also held before the game in memory of the hurricane's victims.
Saturday was the first time since 2013 that Rice and Houston, which are located 7 miles apart, have faced each other.
