Alabama is getting set to open the 2017 season in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Florida State, and another appearance in the annual event could be arriving in the near future.
Alabama is reportedly in negotiations with Miami to square off in the 2021 installment of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, according to Aaron Suttles of The Tuscaloosa News, citing a source.
Both teams have not faced each other since the 1993 Sugar Bowl when Alabama defeated Miami by a score of 34-13 to capture its 12th national championship.
It was previously reported that both Louisville and Ole Miss would be competing in the 2021 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
