Houston, Washington State schedule future home-and-home series

Houston's emergence in the past two seasons as a top program outside the Power 5 has earned it a home-and-home series with a Pac-12 opponent.

The Cougars will host Washington State in September 2019 and then head west for a return matchup in September 2020, the program announced. This Cougars-versus-Cougars rivalry will be renewed for the first time since the 1988 Aloha Bowl.

Washington State leads the all-time series 2-1, with the first meeting between the two sides coming back in 1959.

Houston also revealed it has scheduled a home-and-home series with North Texas in 2019 and 2023.
