Tipa Galeai's time as a member of the TCU football team appears to have come to an end after a school official confirmed to Ryan Osborne of The Star-Telegram that the sophomore is no longer enrolled in the university.
Galeai was charged with assault causing bodily injury in January, according to Tarrant County court records. The arrest warrant affidavit states that Galeai is accused of chasing two students into a dorm building and assaulting them, specifically hitting one student in his face and body a total of 21 times.
As a sophomore defensive end, Galeai appeared in eight games for the Horned Frogs last season, recording 25 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
