Julio Jones' career came perilously close to being written much differently.
While the Atlanta Falcons receiver prepares for his first Super Bowl, he told reporters on Wednesday that he woke up on National Signing Day in 2008 not knowing where he would make his commitment.
Jones had made visits to Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech, but the Alabama native opted instead to stay close to home and attend the University of Alabama.
Jones started for three years with the Crimson Tide, winning the national championship in 2009.
